I've seen a lot of posters asking whether you should buy the book. Your answer is yes, you should! I got it and I'm not even finished with it yet, but I've already made a neat little casual game, ColorLight, and I'm working on something more ambitious now. If you want to make Flash games, you should totally get this book.
