About Flash Game University

Gary Rosenzweig's ActionScript 3.0 Game Programming University is a book about Flash game development. There is a first edition (red) and the new second edition (blue, coming soon). Inside the second edition are more than 20 games, with all source code and detailed descriptions about how they work. You can start with chapter 1 and learn to program in ActionScript 3.0, and then go on to learn how to make games. Or, you can skip to a particular game and customize it for your own needs.

The second edition of the book adds many new games including a Balloon Pop game to chapter 7, a Collapsing Blocks game to chapter 8, a set of card games in the new chapter number 13, several 3D games in the new chapter 14. Plus, the second edition has a new chapter 15 about building iOS apps with Flash CS5.
